John Irving Clarke
holds an M.A. in English and education. During a teaching career which stretched over thirty years he worked in five secondary schools as an English teacher, Head of Department and Assistant Headteacher. After taking early retirement to concentrate upon writing and leading workshops he wrote Who the Hell is Ricky Bell? a novel of redemptive love, (Currock Press, 2014) and a number of short stories and poems which have been published variously.
